Irina Mania is Crafts Development Officer in GeorgianArts and Culture Center since 2012 . She works for the EU funded projects “Strengthening Creative Industries in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia: Heritage Crafts - Common Platform for Development” and “Crafts Platform in Action- Enhancing Sector’s Economic Capacity for Georgia”. The main direction of her work is heritage crafts and communication with craft producers. Together with the different activities she has taken part in the research of heritage crafts in Georgia and creation of crafts database.
Irina Mania has graduated as an Art historian from Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Her Master work is Tbilisi Caravansarais of XIX and beginning of XX century. Moreover, she has long experience of working in the travel agencyplanning and guiding specific cultural tours around Georgia.
